ABOUT ME
Miss Mei, a passionate advocate and co-founder of Decrim 305, has been a sex worker for over 13 years, dedicating their efforts to decriminalizing, destigmatizing, and decarcerating sex work. Miss Mei focuses on providing resources and building mutual aid networks for sex workers. Beyond their role in Decrim 305, they serve on the boards of The Cupcake Girls and Yaya Por Vida, contributing to various organizations dedicated to social justice. As a disabled individual of Chinese-Cuban heritage, Miss Mei's intersectional approach extends to their hobby of cosplay, using art to humanize sex workers. Through this unique lens, they challenge stereotypes, utilizing creativity as a powerful tool to reshape narratives & advocate for a future where sex work is respected & protected.
